DIY: Cupcake Liner Ruffle Flowers
Below you will find step by step instructions on how to make these darling cupcake liner ruffle flowers for a table accents, a strikingly bold craft paper table runner, or string them together for a festive garland!
Materials:
- Spray Paint (Colors optional. I used tan and gold)
- Three sizes of cupcake liners in white. (Large, normal, mini)
- Craft glue
Step 1:Lay out and flatten a variety of each size of cupcake liner on newspaper and get to spray painting either tan, or gold (or whatever color you want! Make sure to leave many of themĀ un-sprayed since the variety of colors look good against the white too. Spray paint a few of them in random and let dry.
Step 2: Next, pair at random the large, medium and small liners in various colors/sizes one on top of each other with a small dab of glue in the center. They should be semi-flattened at this point. Place them in your hand and use a pencil to push towards the center of your fist, and semi-twist the back of the flower to and just play with the shape – the flowers can be flatter, or ‘fluffier’ – whichever you prefer.
Step 3: Let each flower dry. You can then attach by glue on a piece of brown craft paper for your table runner, or place scattered on your table!
